Dalton-Whitfield County Community Foundation

Created in 1997, the mission of the Dalton-Whitfield Community Foundation is to “enhance the quality of life in Whitfield County and the surrounding area for both current and future generations.” The Foundation is a proud member of the Community Foundation of Northwest Georgia and a public 501(c)(3) non-profit charity.

It is both a grant making and endowment building organization - working directly with individuals, businesses and the non-profit community to promote charitable giving and increase the financial resources available for use now and in the future.

We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for both present and future generations by:

• Promoting charitable giving in Whitfield County, Georgia.

• Building & maintaining permanent endowment funds to be used for civic and humanitarian needs of Whitfield County.

• Serving as a leader in identifying and prioritizing needs in our community.

• Serving as a partner in developing effective responses to community issues.

• Encouraging collaboration between organizations and individuals to shape solutions.
