To simplify our grant application process and to be good stewards of the environment, we only accept grants online. Do not send us hard copies or notebooks full of information and brochures. If you do not have access to a computer, please call our office for alternate instructions.

To Prepare

You will need to collect certain information before you begin the application process. For example:

- Organization Information - your website, your primary and mailing address, your chief staff officer's name and contact information, your organization's tax ID number, mission statement, number of employees and volunteers, which communities or groups benefit from your organization's work, recent accomplishments

- Fund Raising Information - know how money is raised, know how much money your organization raised through fund-raising last year, know your organization's three largest contributors, and two potential donors

- Board of Directors Information - know your board members and what percentage of your board has made a financial commitment to your organization

- Staff - know the key members of your staff (the management team)

- Organization Budget - know your organization's expense and income for the current budget year and the previous budget year

- Grant Request Information - the project's name, the amount you are requesting, how the grant funds will be spent, what are the desired outcomes, and how will results be measured
