2005 Grants
The Calhoun-Gordon County Community Foundation conducted its first grant
cycle during the Fall of 2005. Grant applications were carefully reviewed
by members of the Foundation’s Grants Committee. In addition to a
thorough review of each proposal, committee members made site visits at
many of the programs that requested grants.
Foundation grants provided direct assistance to a variety of important causes serving people throughout the Gordon-Calhoun County community. Projects that received support from the Fall 2005 Grant Cycle included educational, civic and humanitarian programs – each making a real difference in Gordon County.
