Public Disclosure Policy

Our Foundation will make available for public inspection the last three years of tax documents, including Internal Revenue Service Forms 990, any audit, and its tax exempt letter. If the request for any of these documents is made in person, the requested documents will be provided on the day of the request if possible. If the request is in writing (including email), copies will be provided within 30 days of the request. The requester may be charged a reasonable fee for the cost of copying, plus storage. Questions concerning documents should be addressed to either the Executive Director or Board Chair of our Foundation.

From I-75, take exit 333 (Walnut Street). Travel east on Walnut for about two miles. Turn left on Thornton Ave. Take an immediate left into the parking area of office buildings. Our office is on the second floor. There's an elevator located at the front entrance.


David has worked in the nonprofit field for over twenty five years and has lived in Northwest Georgia since 1996. Aft is a recognized resource and noted speaker on charitable enterprise, civics, fundraising strategy and community development. He is a graduate of the Florida State University School of Social Work where he earned a masters degree in social work in 1987.

Office Manager

Cecelia has over seven years of managerial experience.  Prior to joining the Community Foundation, she worked for her family’s business as bookkeeper and office manager.  Cecelia has lived in Northwest Georgia all of her life where she and her husband have raised their two children.

Daily Operations Manager

Mitzi has worked in the nonprofit and healthcare industry for nearly thirty years. She is a specialist in financial management and office administration and has served as the office administrator for the Foundation for the last eight years. Mitzi is a veteran of the United States Navy and has lived in Northwest Georgia since 1989.

Accounting Manager I

Audra has over fifteen years of accounting experience across multiple industries including public accounting and manufacturing accounting. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in accounting from Western Governors University and plans to take the CPA exam shortly after she completes her studies. A native of Chatsworth, Audra currently lives in Adairsville.

Marketing and Technology Director

Amber brings a unique set of experiences to her work at the Community Foundation. As both a freelance writer and professional engineer, her diverse background includes frequent contributions to national and regional publications, marketing and communications work with area nonprofits and an extensive background in technology application, manufacturing, and engineering management. She is a graduate of both Georgia Tech and Mercer University.
