The Community Foundation of Bartow-Cartersville is proud to open nominations for the Hurricanes First Fan Award each week throughout the 2026 football season.
Every week, one Bartow County student will join the team under the stadium, run out of the tunnel, and tear through the banner with the Purple Hurricanes.
Nominate the biggest Canes fan you know in grades K–12!
It only takes about two minutes using the form below. Every Thursday morning, we'll randomly select one lucky winner.

Being a First Fan Means Your Student
Joins the pregame huddle.
The First Fan heads under the stadium with the team before kickoff, right there for the pregame huddle.
Runs out of the tunnel.
Their name is announced to the whole stadium as they run out of the tunnel alongside the Purple Hurricanes.
Tears through the banner.
The First Fan runs through the banner on the field with the team, kicking off the game the way the players do.

Every true fan has the gear to back it up. Each First Fan will win some Hurricane swag!
